Design Guru David Vonner is the genius behind some of your favorite toys, action figures, and collectibles! From the rock band KISS to your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and the Superstars of the WWE, David has designed & developed products for toy giants such as Marvel, Hasbro & Mattel. As a 25+ year Toy Industry veteran, one of David’s major accomplishments was being a part of the design & development team responsible for the wildly popular 6-inch collector action figure line Marvel Legends, as well as the creation of the 3 3/4-inch Marvel Universe action figure line, both of which led to the present-day Marvel Cinematic Universe. After being responsible for generating hundreds of millions of dollars in sales revenues for other companies, David, along with his wife, Makeba, opened the doors to their own toy design firm in 2020, WalkGlobal LA, based in Long Beach, CA. The WalkGlobal LA founders give their clients a full production experience by developing their ideas from concept to manufacturing. David was able to take one of their clients, The Nacelle Company, from having a non-existent toy company to having product designed, sculpted, manufactured, and shipped to store shelves in just under 10 months! That’s the kind of reliability and diligence that comes with working with one of the top toy designers in the world. In addition to his accomplishments in the toy industry, David has raised millions of dollars for independent creators through successful crowdfunding campaigns and licensing partnerships, helping bring countless creative visions to life.
